Using Buttons
Here is the basic code for turning a .gif image into a hyperlink button.NOTE: That you need the < and > brackets. See source code.
A HREF="UsingImages.html" IMG SRC="images/SReClown.gif"
A HREF="UsingImages.html" is the html page you are linking to.
IMG SRC="images/SReClown.gif" is the image that you are using as the image for the hyperlink.

NOTE: The BROWSER inserts a BORDER around the image. In Netscape you may remove this border by adding the BORDER=0 or increase the width of the border by BORDER=6
The IMAGE BUTTON will LINK us to the USING IMAGES page.
NOTE: To hyperlink to a "page address" that is NOT LOCATED IN YOUR LOCAL FOLDER you MUST USE THE FULL HTTP ADDRESS as shown below.

For recent work see IN Jersey where I am the Senior Web Site Designer.NOTE: I use Adobe Photoshop to create all my WWW graphics and save them as New File: 72 dpi resolution, Resolution: 8-bit, Palette: System color, Dither: Diffusion for photos and None for graphics. You will have to change mode to Index Color then Save As .gif format.
